History Buffs Wanted for Research Projects
Site: Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook and St. James Farm in Warrenville
Description: DuPage County has a grand history with many chapters yet to be written. To that end, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is looking for research volunteers at Mayslake Peabody Estate, the former home of Francis Stuyvesant Peabody, and St. James Farm, the former estate of Brooks McCormick.
This position is perfect for the busy person who wants to volunteer but has limited time outside of the home. Volunteer researchers meet to discuss their independent findings but do the majority of research off-site.
