Enjoy a performance by Claudia Hommel and Bobby Schiff during the “WDCB Jazz Salon at Mayslake” on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook.
Singer Claudia Hommel and pianist Bobby Schiff headline the Jazz Fauré Project, which blends French impressionism with American jazz. Join this unique evening cabaret performance featuring classic love songs full of color and light.
General seating for the performance — a joint effort of the PianoForte Foundation, WDCB Public Radio and Mayslake Peabody Estate — is $20 per person with a reduced price of $18 for students, seniors over 65 and groups of six or more. Guided tours of Mayslake Hall will be available before the concert at 6:30 p.m. for $5 per person. The tours explore the history of the estate and the restoration projects now benefitting the hall.
Mayslake Peabody Estate is located at 1717 W. 31st St., one-quarter mile west of Route 83.
